Terms of service
Last updated July 2026
The deal, in plain words
You pay a $300 one-time setup plus a subscription. We design, build, host, maintain, and update a website for your business. Most sites go live within one week of a completed onboarding form; bigger builds can take longer and we’ll tell you upfront.
Billing
Monthly plans are billed monthly, with your first three months due at signup. Yearly plans are billed annually and include two months free versus monthly pricing. The setup fee is due once, at signup. Third-party platform fees — like an ordering system’s own charges — are separate from your Brightfront plan.
Ownership
Your domain is registered in your name and is always yours. Your content — photos, words, business information — is yours. The website’s design and code are Brightfront’s work product and remain Brightfront’s; your subscription covers their use while you’re a client. Cancelling doesn’t transfer the design or source code.
Updates and revisions
Every build includes two rounds of design revisions. After launch, update requests are handled on your plan’s schedule: one request per week on Essentials, an unlimited next-business-day queue on Pro and Growth. An update request is anything you’d naturally ask in one message.
Cancelling
Monthly plans can be cancelled anytime after the first three months; yearly plans at the end of the paid year. Your site stays live through the end of what you’ve paid for, then comes down. We’ll help you point your domain wherever you go next.
The boring-but-necessary part
We’ll do professional, careful work, but we can’t guarantee specific search rankings, AI citations, or revenue outcomes. Don’t use a Brightfront site for anything unlawful. If something goes wrong on our side, our liability is capped at what you’ve paid us in the last twelve months. These terms are governed by Illinois law.
